“...No more drab colors, high walls, and tired furniture. The flexibility of Inscape’s solution fit the different work styles of our groups. The results exceeded our expectations and response has been overwhelmingly positive.”
In 2002, Trace3 was one of many technology start-ups in Southern California. They had three employees who sat at second-hand workstations, busily creating custom IT solutions for their clients.
Fast forward ten years and three office relocations: exponential growth has driven Trace3’s sales and service revenue to nearly $400 million and 300 employees. A new corporate headquarters is being planned to accommodate their growing organization. Design firm LPA Inc. is commissioned to create a vibrant, energetic and progressive open office environment that enhances collaboration.
Led by Sylvia Situ, LPA’s Project Designer, the design team created an inviting environment that maximizes natural light in the open office area and reflects Trace3’s corporate culture and branding. Like many technology companies, on-site perks include fun break rooms with ping pong tables and spin bikes and small meeting rooms that can be used for private calls or heads-down work.
The workspace solution at Trace3 was provided by Inscape. The dealer, Kairos Furniture Management Services, collaborated closely with Trace3 and Inscape’s local representative to create semi-private workstations that met Trace3’s aesthetic and functional requirements, with input from LPA on the finish selections and design.
“The design objective for Trace3’s new headquarters was to create a vibrant, energetic and progressive open office environment that reflected their corporate culture and branding. The aesthetics of Inscape’s system product complemented the design of Trace3’s space and Inscape’s color-matching capability helped create the vibrant space the client wanted.”
